Purchase a new house plant
Buying plants might seem like a newer trend, but humans have been connecting with nature through caring for house plants since 500 BC or earlier! By bringing a piece of the earth indoors with you, you are reminded to practice earth friendliness in all parts of life. Plus, they’re beautiful to look at! #ShopLocal and grab a new plant today at one of our downtown shops, boutiques, or florists. Our merchants and our earth will thank you!

Find your new favorite outdoor space
There are many beautiful green spaces in #DowntownCG that are still open to enjoy. When you spend time in our downtown, you help promote our community as a vibrant and lovable destination, which encourages others to visit as well. Find your new favorite spot here and then share a picture of yourself enjoying the nature around you!

Support a local farmer
Did you know that many of our downtown restaurants use local ingredients to prepare their delicious meals? When local farmers are supported, the earth smiles. Why? Local farms tend to help cut down on food waste, pesticides or other toxins being released into the air, and the amount of energy used to transport goods. Support farmers and our local economy today by grabbing a meal to go, purchasing ingredients from a local business, or reaching out directly to the farmers here!
