We’ve been waiting all year and it’s finally here: berry season at the Cape Riverfront Market!
This Saturday, June 8, kicks the season off. You can join us in #DowntownCG to pick up some fresh and locally grown strawberries and blueberries (YUM!) from some of our vendors. These fan-favorite berries hit peak season for harvesting from late-April through June, and are both so versatile. You can make fresh fruit smoothies for those early mornings, or one of my favorites, a simple and delicious salad like the one below!
Strawberry, Blueberry, & Greens Salad with Honey Vinaigrette

The Riverfront Market offers an amazing local experience with live music, activities for the kiddos, fresh produce, handmade goods, and (of course) incredible food!
This Saturday you can hear Earl Bennett, get the inside scoop on the Summer Arts Festival, and take your family to activities with Codefi’s Youth Coding League (all while picking up your fresh new berries). Make sure you get to the market early (it opens at 8 AM every Saturday), because the berries are sure to go fast!
